Why Exposure It
Built for photographers who'd rather shoot than chase invoices.
Freelance real estate work is great until it isn't. We built the other side of the business — clients, scheduling, editing, delivery, billing — so you can focus on the part you actually like.
Guaranteed Volume
We bring the clients, scheduling, and dispatch. You bring the gear and the craft. Stop hunting your own leads.
No Editing, No Admin
You shoot and upload. Our team handles all retouching, delivery, invoicing, and client communication.
Predictable Weekly Pay
Active contractors earn $700–$1,500 per week depending on market and volume. Paid on a consistent weekly cycle.
Contractor Freedom
1099 flexibility. No nights, minimal weekends. Keep your own LLC, take outside work, run your week your way.

The Role
Experienced Real Estate Photographer
This is a 1099 contract role for an experienced real estate photographer who already knows the craft. You bring the gear, the Part 107, and the portfolio. We bring the volume, the clients, the scheduling, and the editing team.
- Shoot 30–50 high-resolution interior and exterior photos per property using HDR bracketing
- Capture drone aerials when included in the package
- Shoot cinematic walkthrough video and vertical reels on premium packages
- Capture 3D tours (Matterport / Zillow 3D)
- Upload unedited files same day after each shoot to our platform
- Represent Exposure It professionally with agents, homeowners, and tenants
- Follow established shot lists, workflows, and brand standards
- No editing or post production — our team handles all retouching and delivery
- No client scheduling or rescheduling — our operations team manages that
- No invoicing or chasing payment
- No client management or lead generation
- No nights, minimal weekends
- Minimum 50 completed real estate photography shoots (not headshots, events, or weddings)
- Active FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
- Full-frame mirrorless or DSLR camera body capable of HDR auto bracketing
- 14–16mm wide-angle lens (full-frame equivalent)
- Sturdy tripod
- Reliable drone for aerial photography
- Reliable personal vehicle and clean driving record
- Same-week availability with flexibility for occasional Saturday shoots
- Gimbal and experience shooting cinematic real estate video
- Prior Matterport or 3D tour experience
- Existing relationships with local agents or brokerages in your market
You're a strong fit if you already shoot real estate full-time or part-time and want guaranteed volume without managing your own clients. You have your Part 107 and use your drone regularly. You value a simple, predictable workflow over the grind of finding your own work, and you can commit to a reliable weekly schedule while maintaining quality across high volume.

FAQ
Common questions.
Do I need to have my own LLC?+
No. We work with both sole proprietors and LLCs. We'll issue a 1099 either way — you handle your own taxes and business setup as you see fit.
What gear do you require?+
A full-frame mirrorless or DSLR body capable of HDR auto bracketing, a 14–16mm wide-angle lens (full-frame equivalent), a sturdy tripod, and a reliable drone for aerial work. A gimbal is a plus for video packages but not required to start.
How many shoots can I expect per week?+
It depends on the market and the season, but most active contractors run 5–12 shoots per week. New markets ramp up over the first 60–90 days as we onboard agents and builders in your area.
Do you provide training, or do I need to already be experienced?+
These roles are for experienced photographers. We'll onboard you to our shot list, workflow, and upload platform, but you should already be comfortable shooting interiors and exteriors at a professional standard.
Why 1099 instead of W-2?+
Most real estate media pros prefer contractor flexibility — you set your own schedule, take on the volume that fits your week, and keep the option to shoot for other clients outside of our work. We bring the volume; you bring the craft.
Do you cover mileage or travel?+
Per-shoot pay is structured to account for travel within your market's coverage area. Out-of-market or unusually long-distance assignments are quoted separately when they come up.
Ready to shoot with us?
If you've got the gear, the Part 107, and a real estate portfolio to back it up — we'd like to meet you.
